Museum lilin Madame Tussaud kini telah berkembang menjadi sebuah tujuan wisata di London, berdampingan (hingga baru-baru ini) dengan London Planetarium di sisi baratnya. Nah, di sini terletak jam legendaris, Big Ben. Jam ini mempunyai ukuran yang sangat besar, sehingga bisa dilihat dengan jelas.
Tempat tinggal resmi Ratu Elizabeth II, Istana Buckingham, juga banyak dikunjungi wisatawan. Biasanya antara tanggal 12 Agustus hingga 29 September kita bisa memasuki istana.
Ada cara lain untuk melihat keindahan kota London, yaitu dengan harus menaiki sebuah kincir raksasa, namanya London Eye. Atau, teman-teman juga bisa melihat keindahan kota dari menara kubah gedung St. Paul’s Cathedral. Gereja ini telah berdiri hampir 1400 tahun.
Tidak kalah menariknya berkunjung ke museum Madame Tussaud. Di tempat tersebut pengunjung dapat menemui ratusan tokoh terkenal dalam bentuk patung lilin. Atau, British Museum, tempat menyimpan banyak peninggalan budaya bersejarah dari berbagai bangsa, seperti mumi Cleopatra, ratu cantik dari Mesir.

Early Edition
Early Edition sebuah serial tv amerika yang ditayangkan tahun 90-an. Early edition ini menceritakan tentang seorang pria bernama Gary yang diperankan oleh si cakep Kyle Chandler yang dapat mengetahui suatu peristiwa atau kejadian di esok hari melalui sebuah koran Chicago-Sun Times yang secara kebetulan muncul di depan pintu kamar hotelnya bersama dengan seekor kucing. Gary mendapatkan koran esok hari setelah ia tinggal di sebuah kamar hotel yang ia tinggali setelah ia cerai dengan istrinya. Gary dibantu dengan 2 orang sahabatnya yaitu Chuck dan Marissa menyelamatkan orang dari bahaya yang akan terjadi . Gary layaknya sebagai pahlawan, ia menyelamatkan orang, berbeda dari film bertemakan pahlawan lainnya seperti spiderman atau superman, Gary tidak menggunakan topeng atau jubah.
Ada satu episode yang menurut saya paling bagus yaitu saat Gary harus memilih menyelamatkan seorang anak dari kecelakaan atau ia harus menyelamatkan 160 penumpang pesawat yang akan jatuh. Dan episode yang lucu saat Chuck harus membantu proses kelahiran bayi kembar di sebuah lift yang sedang mati di tengah jalan, padahal ia sangat benci dengan hal yang berbau pembedahan apalagi kalau melihat darah dan cairan-cairan aneh dari proses pembedahan. Secara keseluruhan film ini layak untuk ditonton.
Family Ties
Family Ties merupakan serial komedi keluarga tahun 80-an. Sampai saat ini menurut saya komedi keluarga yang paling bagus adalah serial ini meskipun sudah 20 tahun. Family Ties menceritakan sebuah keluarga yang terdiri dari ayah dan ibu bserta dengan ketiga anaknya menjalankan kegiatan sehari-hari mereka yang lucu. Bukan hanya sekedar film komedi tapi Family Ties banyak memberikan pesan moral dan cara menyelesaikan suatu masalah di lingkungan keluarga khususnya dan juga lingkungan sekitar.

Salmon. Ikan berlemak seperti salmon merupakan sumber yang kaya asam lemak omega-3 DHA dan EPA. Kedua komponen ini, menurut pakar nutrisi dari Los Angeles Andrea Giancoli, MPH, sangat penting untuk pertumbuhan dan fungsi otak.
Penelitian menemukan bahwa orang-orang yang lebih banyak mengonsumsi asam lemak ini melalui diet mempunyai otak yang lebih tajam. Selain itu mereka juga mempunyai performa lebih baik dalam tes keahlian mental.
Telur. Telur dikenal kaya akan protein. Selain itu, kuning telur juga menagndung choline yang membantu perkembangan memori.
Selai kacang."Kacang dan selai kacang merupakan makanan yang kaya vitamin E, antioksidan kuat yang berfungsi melindungi membran saraf," terang Giancoli. Selain itu, lanjut dia, selai kacang juga mengandung thiamin yang berfungsi membantu otak dan sistem saraf menggunakan glukosa sebagai energi.

Oat kaya serat, vitamin E, vitamin B, kalium dan seng. Komponen ini membantu memaksimalkan fungsi tubuh dan otak.

Perlu atau Tidak??
Apa hal yang paling menghawatirkan bagi anak kelas 3 SMA untuk saat ini? Jika kalian menjawab Ujian Nasional atau lebih dikenal dengan UN, kalian benar. Ya, UN akan diadakan sebentar lagi yaitu tanggal 22 Maret 2010. Ujian Nasional adalah ujian akhir yang harus dijalani siswa kelas 6 SD, 3 SMP, dan tentu saja kelas 3 SMA. Tapi yang menjadi pertanyaan, UN itu perlu ga sih?
Di satu pihak UN sangat diperlukan bagi siswa untuk melanjutkan ke jenjang selanjutnya. Bagi kita kelas 3 SMA, UN menjadi satu-satunya syarat kelulusan untuk melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi. UN dapat menjadikan siswa untuk mau belajar lebih giat. UN juga memperlihatkan hasil apa saja yang kita peroleh saat di sekolah. UN mampu meningkatkan keimanan seseorang karena semakin mendekati UN siswa biasanya lebih giat dalam melakukan ibadah.
Tapi dilain pihak banyak sisi negatif dari UN. UN bisa membuat siswa menjadi takut apabila mereka tidak lulus UN meskipun sekarang bagi mereka yang tidak lulus UN dapat mengikuti ujian ulang tapi tetap saja mereka pasti merasa malu. UN juga tidak menunjukkan kualitas dari siswa, bisa saja siswa yang kurang pintar dengan mudah lulus ujian tapi sebaliknya ada saja siswa yang pintar tidak lulus ujian. Banyak pratik-praktir yang dilakukan siswa dalam melakukan UN ini.
Menurut saya penyelenggaraan UN perlu diadakan tapi jangan dijadikan satu-satunya syarat bagi siswa untuk lulus. Seharusnya sekolahlah yang menentukan lulus atau tidaknya siswa karena sekolah dan guru-guru yang tahu bagaimana kualitas dari anak didiknya.
